PLEASE, take the time to read this page before contacting us as your answers will more than likely be below.

We build all our kits in house on our development Micra to ensure excellent fitment. Kits are then removed and shipped to you. There is no need to drop your car off with us – Unless you prefer us to build and install the kit on your car for you, Or you have a vehicle with Air Conditioning (additional labour costs apply)

What engine does the kit fit?

The kit will fit the 1.0L, 1.3L and 1.4L Engines in both distributor and coil pack variants

What engine is best to use?

The early distributer 1.0L CG10 & 1.3L CG13 engine is preferred for its simplicity and slightly thicker ringlands compared to the later Coilpack 1.0L CG10 & 1.4L CGA3 Engine however. Whilst there is there is no replacement for displacement, the 1.0L is most commonly used due to its availability, as its easier & cheaper to obtain than a 1.3 or 1.4L

What power is expected of this kit?

Anywhere from 130-170+ depending on the Engine Size and quality of the Tune. P

Previous examples is 145hp @ 5.5psi of boost on what is considered a tune to make the engine safe.

Will this fit with A/C?

Mail ordered kits – No.

For A/C fitting kits, we will need to make the kit on your car. Contact us for details.

Will this work on the standard ECU?

Simple answer is, unless you want to be changing the engine every week due to melted pistons – Fit a Standalone ECU!

What ECU do you recommend?

Haltech Elite 1500.

Haltech offer a Plug and Play harness for the Elite 1500 for the earlier Distributer Engines, with the exception of 2 wires for the required IAT Sensor. Haltech also provide a Basemap for the CG13DE.

There are cheap offerings, such as the Haltech Elite 550 & 750 but are not plug and play and will require wired to the factory wiring harness 1 wire at a time.

There are of course other solutions on the market, but our recommendation is a Haltech.

Do I need to do anything with fueling?

Yes…absolutely! As you increase the air intake to the engine, it will need more fuel. Obviously. If you have a coil pack engine your top mounted fuel rail will accept any 14mm Injector, typical of most bosch injectors, We recommend Bosch 470cc Injectors from Astra VXR (Reasonably Priced) with injector rail stand offs modified & injector plugs changed.

If you have a Distributor engine, you will have the older style side feed injectors. Unfortunately, there isn’t much choice of bigger injectors that fit the stock rail. Your options are to source a RWD SR20 Fuel Rail and injectors off a 180sx, 200sx etc and modify it. We used to offer this modification – But no longer do so.

Whilst not essential, we recommend installing a new fuel pump. From our experience when you start to demand more than double the fuel from a pump that’s been doing the same job for 20+ years, they tend to fail. A faulty fuel pump can run the engine lean and melt the engine in seconds.

Is it easy to fit?

This kit can be fitted with some basic mechanical knowledge. If you don’t feel comfortable fitting the kit, have it fitted by a qualified mechanic or contact us for a quote on fitting.
