Description

Its finally here, ready for pre-ordering.

Finally a K Swap Kit. What a time to be alive! Whilst i intended for the conversion to be a bolt in it unfortunately requires some fabrication to physically make room for the gearbox requiring cutting, welding and fabrication on your part.  Here is the low down.

  • To Suit K20 & K24 with K20 Gearbox
  • Precision TIG welded steel mounts
  • Black Powder coated finish
  • 85a bushings
  • Includes mounting hardware.

Fabrication Work Required

  • Requires Removal of the Factory K11 Micra Gearbox mount on the chassis leg
  • Requires cutting, strengthening, boxing of the left hand chassis leg to clear gearbox casing
  • Requires gearbox mount to be welded to the chassis leg (This mount is indexed using two threaded holes on the chassis leg to correctly locate the mount)
  • The Front and Rear conversion mounts require the OEM Crossbeam support.
  • The Crossbeam support for the factory k11 engine mounts, needs to be cut, notched and strengthened to clear the oil sump pan.
    • The included, optional 4th Mount, can only be used with the Steel sump.
  • Alternator requires relocation (Alternator in Factory K20 Position, places the alternator in the same space as the right hand headlight)
    • If wishing to retain the OEM Belt Driven Water Pump, We recommend;
      • https://www.t7design.co.uk/honda-k20-k24-alternator-relocation-kit-raw-billet-bf2-6c9-7d0.html
        • The Slam panel will requiring cutting and boxing to clear alternator.
    • If wishing to use EWP Water Pump, We recommend;
      • https://www.t7design.co.uk/honda-k20-k24-electric-water-plate-kit-raw-c0c-e24-2af.html
    • Both options require some trimming to the slam panel under the headlights.
  • Radiator requires moving onto the slam panel (Directly forward of its current position) to clear Clutch Cylinder & Throttle Body

Gearbox

  • Must Use K20 Gearbox/ Transmission
  • This mount kit will not work with K24 Gearbox – The mounting is different.
